“I really do love my job! I get to know my students and clients, sharing their journey towards self-confidence. I watch them truly blossom from the inside out - it doesn't get more rewarding than that!”
My working background is in the field of advertising, television, and in my younger days, modelling - so I know all about “smoke and mirrors” and how image can open doors or slam them shut!  My most recent TV work was at Channel Seven working in production  n The Great South East, Creek to Coast, Queensland Weekender and Seven News. I have styled photographic shoots and TV commercials and have seen first-hand the power of attention to detail and polishing appearances when you really only have seconds to achieve that first impression!
I volunteer my services when I can to the Look Good Feel Better program, helping cancer patients deal with the physical changes that occur during treatment – I fully understand from personal experience, the power of looking good to really feel better.  I conduct private, corporate and school-based workshops teaching the benefits of positive first impressions, wardrobe styling, grooming and deportment.
I offer Corporate Styling Workshops teaching professionals that it’s just not enough to be “good at what you do” – if the image you project is far from professional, clients and colleagues can quickly lose faith in your abilities. Or worse, you may not even be given the opportunities to show what you really can do! The two must be congruent if success in the workplace is to be achieved.
With my own two children now aged 14 and 16, I feel compelled to teach young people the skills required for effective communication and healthy self-esteem.  I achieve my goal if participants leave my workshops ands with not only new practical grooming and presentation skills, but also an understanding of the importance of self-acceptance and accentuating one’s best features.
I love life, I love my family and I love my friends. I am blessed to be living in Australia and doing work that I find truly rewarding. I have a positive attitude to life and an infectious, wicked sense of humour. I try to inject humour and fun into almost everything I do – for me, it’s the only way to weather the slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune!
